HYPE WALLET SUPPORT

A little help.
A clearer next step.

Practical answers for your wallet, networks and transactions.

How do I create or import a wallet?

Choose Create wallet to generate a new wallet on your device. To restore a wallet, choose Import, select 12 or 24 words and enter them in order. Local word suggestions help with spelling. Each new wallet has its own independent recovery phrase. Import uses the first EVM account at m/44'/60'/0'/0/0, without an additional BIP-39 passphrase.

Can I write down my recovery phrase later?

Yes. Choose Backup later, then return to Settings → Recovery phrase. Write every word down offline and complete the three-word check. Keep a separate backup for every wallet. Support cannot recover a lost phrase.

Which network should I use to receive HYPE?

Use HyperEVM, chain ID 999. HYPE in this wallet is the native HyperEVM coin. HyperCore trading and staking balances are separate and do not appear in the Home balance. Always confirm the exact network with the sender before receiving funds.

What can I send and receive?

Native HYPE on HyperEVM, ETH on Ethereum, canonical USDC and supported standard ERC-20 tokens added by contract address. Sending currently supports regular wallet recipients. Swaps, bridges, fiat purchases, arbitrary dApp signatures, NFTs and smart-contract recipient interactions are not included.

Why do I need HYPE or ETH to send USDC?

Network fees are paid in the network’s native coin: HYPE on HyperEVM or ETH on Ethereum. You need enough native balance for the fee, even when sending a token. The review screen shows an estimated maximum network fee.

My transfer says “Checking status.” What now?

Refresh Activity and open the saved transaction hash in the explorer. A timeout can occur after a transaction reaches the network. The wallet keeps its hash and blocks another send from that wallet on that network until a receipt resolves it. Do not assume a timeout means failure. Replacement and cancellation are not currently supported.

Why is a balance or transaction missing?

Check both the selected wallet and network, then pull down to refresh. Indexed history can lag or omit activity. Load older activity to see more pages; filters apply to loaded pages. HyperEVM Testnet shows outgoing transfers from this installation with an explorer link. HyperCore and NFT activity are separate.

Can I stake HYPE in this version?

The Staking tab displays existing HyperCore mainnet delegations, undelegated funds and pending withdrawals for the selected address. It does not perform delegation or withdrawals and does not promise a yield.

How do payment requests work?

Open Receive → Request amount, choose an asset and enter a sum. Copy or share the QR request. Scanning or pasting a supported EIP-681 request fills the sender’s payment form. The sender still reviews and confirms the transfer. Creating the request does not move funds.

What does the portfolio chart include?

Successful observations saved on this device, for the selected mainnet network. There is no historical backfill. Unpriced assets, NFTs and HyperCore balances are excluded from the USD total; USDC uses an indicative $1 estimate. The chart includes the effect of transfers, so it is not an investment profit-and-loss report.

How can I remove my data?

You can edit or delete contacts and goals. Deleting the app removes local app records, but iOS Keychain items can survive uninstalling. Keep an offline backup and do not treat app deletion as guaranteed key erasure. Public blockchain transactions cannot be deleted by the wallet.

What should I include in a support request?

Include the app version, iPhone model, iOS version, selected network and steps that reproduce the issue. A public transaction hash can help, but reveals financial activity. Never share recovery words, private keys, device passcodes or a screenshot containing them.

Keep the secret part secret.

Support will never need your recovery phrase, private key or device passcode. We cannot reverse a blockchain transaction or reconstruct a lost phrase.
